The children are next generation who will continue to connect offspring roots over the times. Besides, children are the future generation who will become the foundation when the current generation started weak. Then the children are the future infestations of the most valuable. Children are still weak, both physically and psychologically. So, in many things a child needs protection, because of the limitations the child cannot do it alone and need some guidance. But the number of cases what put children as victims of various cases of violence against children; trafficking, sexual abuse, neglect or exploitation of children in the economy. Those threaten Muslim s future if it turns out the generation experience on the disease. Internationally or nationally there are instruments to protect children, but it is not yet effective and still require another discourse to join together to prevent violence against children. The Qur an as a book of instructions has its own way to solve the problem. The Qur an contained in the teachings which call for the protection of children. Therefore this paper focus on children protection that supported by of verses of Qur anic verses. To make this research systematic, the researcher uses the method of thematic tafsir. As a thematic study, after determine the theme what will be researched and then discuss about the children itself and children protection: the original and the instrument. Then collect the verses and analyze it. In the Qur an is found some terms represent term children. They are walad, ibnun, shobiy, thifl and gulam. The researcher discusses them in its etymology meaning, not widely be discussed. But the researcher chooses the term that guides her to collect the verses and because the researcher collect the verse in accordance with the contents that have the spirit to protect the children and empower them. The protection what is conceptualized by the Qur an must be able cover important aspect of children, influence and determine the viability of children. They are life, health, religion, education, social status and property. The efforts to protect the children cannot just be responsibility of parent or family, because namely the children have begun their sociality since early. In other hand social construction take a part more in influencing pattern of family. Thus, children protection by involving the society is the important one. Until can reach respect each other to build the society that deserves for children.
